Problem
There's a lot of neurodivergent gamers out there, but not enough ways to connect them. Developing long lasting friendships is already tough enough, and on top of finding people who are similar to you, it gets tougher. There are countless neurodivergent gamers looking to be a part of online communities, and we're hoping to give them the push towards the right direction.
So, we ask...
How can we develop an app that facilitates connections among neurodivergent gamers who share common interests and experiences?

User Feedback
We had 15 neurodivergent individuals from various platforms, including Reddit, Discord, and Twitter, evaluate our prototype and gained such feedback:
Separate log in page and welcome page (dashboard) is necessary, for mobile app; prioritize efficiency
Find a better way to handle multiple buttons and make it looks clean.
Voice page needs more functionality besides mute/unmute button.
Instead of a single back button, perhaps add a navigation bar that take the user to a specific page.
Group list page seems too crowded; only showcase relevant features/details.

Key Insights
Neuodivergent gamers are spread throughout various platforms ranging from public to private communities, but would like a way for them to form their “bubbles” or “circles” more easily.
Features promoting convenient communication, shared interests, and inclusive environments are crucial for fostering a sense of belonging.
Accessibility features, such as closed captioning and audio descriptions, are crucial for making online communities and gaming platforms inclusive for all individuals, including those with disabilities.
For Future Implications…
Develop it into an actual app and promote it to neurodivergent individuals who are gamers or want to connect with other fellows.
Make more iterations through multiple usability tests with more neurodivergent individuals from more platforms.
Add more accessibility features (or a separate app) for a variety of disabled gamers (ex. visual, temporal, mobility impairments).
